Notice & Takedown Policy

Last updated: 27 December 2025 (27/12/2025)

This Notice & Takedown (NTD) Policy describes how ProRedLine handles notifications of unlawful or abusive content hosted on our infrastructure.
It supplements our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and explains how third parties can report abuse.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all services provided by ProRedLine, including:

  • Web hosting (cPanel/WHM)
  • Application and game servers (Pterodactyl)
  • Domain registration services (via OpenProvider)

Our customers are responsible for the content they host. ProRedLine does not actively monitor content, but we will act upon valid notifications of abuse or illegal activities.

2. How to report abuse

If you believe content hosted on ProRedLine services is unlawful or violates our AUP, please submit a detailed notification through one of the following channels:

To process a report efficiently, please include:

  • the exact URL(s) or precise location of the content,
  • a clear explanation of why the content is illegal or violates rights/policies,
  • evidence where applicable (e.g., ownership proof, screenshots, reference links),
  • your full name (or organisation), email address, and a method to contact you,
  • a good-faith statement that the information is accurate and complete.
  • To help ProRedLine act under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), notices should be sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated, including the exact location of the content and an explanation of why it is illegal.

Incomplete notices may be delayed until sufficient information is provided.

2a. DSA Points of Contact (EU Digital Services Act)

  • Point of contact for authorities (DSA Art. 11): abuse@proredline.com
  • Point of contact for recipients of the service (DSA Art. 12): https://support.proredline.com/tickets/ (or abuse@proredline.com)

Notices must be submitted electronically. We may request additional information if a notice is incomplete.

3. Procedure

  1. Acknowledgement
We confirm receipt of your notice within 2 working days.
  2. Assessment
We assess whether the complaint is valid and whether the content likely violates the law or our AUP.
    • If more information is needed, we may contact you or the customer.
    • For urgent matters (e.g., phishing, child abuse material), immediate action will be taken.
  3. Action
    • If the complaint is justified, ProRedLine may remove or block the content, suspend the service, or terminate the customer account.
    • The affected customer will be informed unless prohibited by law.
    • Where required, ProRedLine will provide the affected customer with a brief statement of reasons for the action taken (e.g., restriction, suspension, or removal), unless prohibited by law or where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm.
  4. Response
You will be informed of the outcome of your complaint.

4. Abuse categories

Examples of content that may be subject to takedown:

  • Phishing, malware, or DDoS activity
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Infringement of intellectual property rights
  • Illegal or harmful content under Dutch/EU law
  • Content prohibited under our AUP

5. Legal framework

This policy is based on applicable EU and Dutch law and industry best practices, including modern notice-and-action principles for hosting providers.

ProRedLine acts as a hosting provider and will remove or disable access to content when legally required or when clearly unlawful. Where appropriate, we may request additional information and/or provide the affected customer with an opportunity to respond, unless legal urgency or severe harm requires immediate action.

6. Contact

This NTD Policy is not a contract with customers but a public procedure to ensure compliance and transparency.
