Notice & Takedown Policy

This Notice & Takedown (NTD) Policy describes how ProRedLine handles notifications of unlawful or abusive content hosted on our infrastructure.
It supplements our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and explains how third parties can report abuse.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all services provided by ProRedLine, including:
- Web hosting (cPanel/WHM)
- Application and game servers (Pterodactyl)
- Domain registration services (via OpenProvider)
Our customers are responsible for the content they host. ProRedLine does not actively monitor content, but we will act upon valid notifications of abuse or illegal activities.
2. How to report abuse
If you believe content hosted on ProRedLine services is unlawful or violates our AUP, please submit a detailed notification through one of the following channels:
- Support Portal: https://support.proredline.com/tickets/?wpsc-section=new-ticket
- Email: abuse@proredline.com (forwarded directly into our support system)
Required information:
- URL or IP address of the content
- Description of the issue and why it is unlawful or abusive
- Evidence (screenshots, logs, or other relevant material)
- Your contact details
Incomplete notifications may not be processed.
3. Procedure
- Acknowledgement
We confirm receipt of your notice within 2 working days. - Assessment
We assess whether the complaint is valid and whether the content likely violates the law or our AUP.- If more information is needed, we may contact you or the customer.
- For urgent matters (e.g., phishing, child abuse material), immediate action will be taken.
- Action
- If the complaint is justified, ProRedLine may remove or block the content, suspend the service, or terminate the customer account.
- The affected customer will be informed unless prohibited by law.
- Response
You will be informed of the outcome of your complaint.
4. Abuse categories
Examples of content that may be subject to takedown:
- Phishing, malware, or DDoS activity
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Infringement of intellectual property rights
- Illegal or harmful content under Dutch/EU law
- Content prohibited under our AUP
5. Legal framework
This policy is based on:
- EU e-Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC)
- Dutch implementation in the Civil Code and case law
- Industry best practices (NLnet/DINL NTD-code)
ProRedLine acts as a hosting provider and will remove or disable access to content when legally required or when clearly unlawful.
