Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

To ensure a safe and reliable service, all customers must adhere to the following rules. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all ProRedLine services, including Control Panel servers, cPanel web hosting, and related infrastructure.
1. Prohibited Activities
Customers are strictly prohibited from:
- Hosting illegal content or engaging in illegal activities, including but not limited to: child sexual abuse material, terrorism, human trafficking, or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Using servers for spamming, phishing, or malware distribution, including computer viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, spyware, or any other harmful code.
- Engaging in excessive resource usage that negatively impacts service performance or other customers.
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent security measures implemented by ProRedLine (e.g., firewalls, DDoS protection).
- Running denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scans, or intrusion attempts on ProRedLine infrastructure or third parties.
- Collecting or processing personal data unlawfully, including doxxing, credential harvesting, or scraping without consent.
- Storing or distributing pirated software, cracked applications, or unlicensed media.
- Using servers for activities outside their intended purpose, unless explicitly approved by ProRedLine.
Customer Responsibility:
The customer remains fully responsible for all content, accounts, and data hosted on their servers. Any API keys, credentials, or accounts added by the customer (e.g., Steam developer keys, app logins) are at the sole risk of the customer.
2. Monitoring
To maintain security and compliance, ProRedLine may monitor server usage through:
- resource usage tracking (CPU, RAM, bandwidth),
- automated logs and alerts in the Control Panel,
- Wordfence and other security plugins on websites,
- abuse reports from third parties,
- incident response systems.
Monitoring is limited to identifying policy violations, technical issues, or security threats. Personal data obtained during monitoring is processed only in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in the following actions, depending on severity:
- Warning and request for remediation (minor issues).
- Temporary suspension until compliance is restored.
- Immediate suspension or termination without notice in cases of serious abuse, including but not limited to:
- distribution of malware,
- hosting illegal content,
- DDoS attacks,
- repeat violations.
ProRedLine reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and share relevant logs or information where legally required.
Refunds are not available for terminated services due to AUP violations.
4. Abuse Reports (Notice & Takedown)
Third parties (non-customers) may report unlawful or abusive content hosted by ProRedLine via our dedicated procedure.
- Abuse notifications can be submitted through our Support Portal (“Report Abuse” category) or by email to abuse@proredline.com.
- Reports are handled in accordance with our Notice & Takedown Policy (https://proredline.com/information/notice-takedown-policy).
- Customers acknowledge that services may be suspended or terminated if ProRedLine receives a valid and substantiated abuse notification.
5. Changes to the Acceptable Use Policy
ProRedLine reserves the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Any changes made will be communicated via our website and may be sent to customers via email. Continued use of our services after changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
