Notice & Takedown Policy
Effective Date: 22 July 2026 (22/07/2026)
Last Updated: 20 August 2026 (20/08/2026)
This Notice & Takedown (NTD) Policy describes how ProRedLine handles notifications of unlawful or abusive content hosted on our infrastructure.
It supplements our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and explains how third parties can report abuse.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all ProRedLine Services, including:
- Web hosting
- Email hosting
- DNS hosting
- Domain-related services
- Customer portals
- Related infrastructure
Our customers are responsible for the content they host. ProRedLine does not generally monitor customer content before publication. However, we may perform limited monitoring where necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or to investigate reports received under this policy.
2. How to report abuse
If you believe content hosted on ProRedLine services is unlawful or violates our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), please submit a detailed notification through one of the following channels:
- Support Portal: https://account.proredline.com/support/?wpsc-section=new-ticket
- Email: abuse@proredline.com (forwarded directly into our support system)
To process a report efficiently, please include:
- the exact URL(s) or precise location of the content,
- a clear explanation of why the content is illegal or violates rights/policies,
- evidence where applicable (e.g., ownership proof, screenshots, reference links),
- your full name (or organisation), email address, and a method to contact you,
- a good-faith statement that the information is accurate and complete.
- To help ProRedLine act under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), notices should be sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated, including the exact location of the content and an explanation of why it is illegal.
Incomplete notices may be delayed until sufficient information is provided. Anonymous reports may also be investigated, provided that sufficient information is available to assess the report.
2a. DSA Points of Contact (EU Digital Services Act)
- Point of contact for authorities (DSA Art. 11): abuse@proredline.com
- Point of contact for recipients of the service (DSA Art. 12): https://account.proredline.com/support/ (or abuse@proredline.com)
ProRedLine will handle notices in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner.
Notices must be submitted electronically. We may request additional information if a notice is incomplete.
3. Procedure
- Acknowledgement
We aim to acknowledge receipt within two working days. - Assessment
We assess whether the complaint is valid and whether the content likely violates the law or our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).- If more information is needed, we may contact you or the customer.
- For urgent matters (e.g., phishing, child abuse material), immediate action will be taken.
- Action
- If the complaint is justified, ProRedLine may remove or block the content, suspend the service, or terminate the customer account. Actions taken will be proportionate to the nature and severity of the reported abuse.
- The affected customer will be informed unless prohibited by law.
- Where required, ProRedLine will provide the affected customer with a brief statement of reasons for the action taken (e.g., restriction, suspension, or removal), unless prohibited by law or where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm.
- Response
You will be informed of the outcome of your complaint.
4. Abuse categories
Examples of content that may be subject to takedown:
